Commercial Lease Agreement

Rental agreement or lease deed is designed for leasing or renting commercial property. A rental agreement is a legal agreement which lays down prescribed terms and conditions under which rented property is leased out and this agreement is between the tenant and the landlord. Usage

This rent agreement or lease deed format can be used by the lessor and lessee. It is a legal document which has are having force of law and is valid the the court of law in the event of any disagreement between the tenant or landlord.

Execution

This rental agreement must be prepared on a Non-judicial stamp paper with a value of Rs. 100 or more. The rent agreement is usually signed on the payment of the rent by the lessee to the lessor. However, the landlord may decide upon how he wants to execute the rental agreement with the lessee. Two copies of the document are usually executed with each party retaining one of the original copies.
